This is by far the easiest way to replace the hood struts and is what I am currently using on the polo.

Craig, I think 60 lbs. is too light to raise the hood easily and hold it securely.

Thanks, as usual, for the reply..will go with the 90 # choice. BTW, have put a set of BFG R1 225/45-17's on my Teal for the summer (no big rain days) and throwing my hefty girl through the tighter curves is a hoot.
