As my name implies, I'm new to Subaru and the svx. I picked up a 1992 black svx with a hurt transmission and decided it is missing a pedal. My donor car is a 99 legacy 2.2na I have pulled the 5mt, the pedal assembly, flywheel, and rear diff. Currently I have removed the engine from the svx to clean it up and make things a bit easier. Here is my question, after a ton of research I know I need to a. Lengthen the drive shaft, how do I know if I have the component drive shaft? The on in the car has a carrier bearing and two u joints. b. from what I have read it is easier to convert the donor diff to limited slip? Pardon my ignorance, I'm used to front drivers.
