i was flashing a new map with the Accessport and bricked my ECU.

apparently Mitsu's are a little more sensitive to battery voltage than Subaru's when flashing - it *should* have been pretty close to full charge, but AP decided to not recognize ECU, then car wouldn't start. shipped to Cobb to have ECU unlocked.

protip - when flashing your ECU, put it on a batttery charger.

i'm considering adding the backup camera to the factory nav. after driving the wife's FXT to work the last few days, i'm gonna miss how easy that thing is to parallel park. the Evo is kinda like a guess and a prayer. i will not miss the sloppy handling, loosey-goosey steering, brakes, and stereo, though.
