For sale: The original 5-speed SVX

I have to sell my SVX. It is the very first ever converted to a 5-speed and does have history among SVX aficionados. Unfortunately it has been sitting in the same spot for 3 years and I have to face the fact that I will not be getting her on the road anytime soon. I had put new tires and dimpled and slotted brake rotors on her for inspection only to have her fail inspection for a slipping clutch. I'd been riding my bike since or carpooling with others. Now she will have to be towed away. The tranny should be replaced as well as the synchros are failing. Unfortunately those nice brakes I put on it have rusted quite badly as well from sitting for so long

I'd hate to part her out for well over $1000. She has to go so the first $1000 or best offer takes her. Please help me find her a good home. If you aren't interested perhaps you know someone who is. Post any questions you may have. PM me with an offer if you are interested.
