according to my owners manual there is a place to put fluid in and take it out. It needs to be on a computer to do this (dealer) and there is a service interval if used under "severe duty".
I was told the fluid is wicked expensive too!
Oh and I have seen some regular automatics that are "sealed units" no thanks.
