Re: Anyone driving a lot of Hwy miles in ther SVX?

Mine are daily drivers and have been 100% reliable (meaning one way or another, they've always gotten me there and back). I put 17,000 miles+ on the teal the first year I owned it, commute daily, and make regular trips of about 300 mostly freeway miles, but these days log only about 5000 miles per year on each. MPG in the high teens around town, high twenties highway, alternating 87 and 93 octane fuel at about the quarter-tank mark. Not pampered nor flogged. Completely stock drivetrains excepting an auxiliary transmission cooler on the teal. PM and repair expenses perfectly reasonable for a car half their age, with no real budget-busters. They're a joy to drive. But both need cosmetic TLC (can't bring myself to pull the trigger on the cost), and they are getting old.
