So..... into the vtd transmission.

The transmission itself is the same as the US part. All of the differences are in the extension housing. The exception to this is the Japanese seem to put more loving care into the assembly of their own stuff than they do ours. There are paint marks from gear matching and hand assembly checks all over this thing.

open it up and you find the vtd:

pull it out and you have a 4eat just like any us model

skipping forward to when i put it back together and we have a vtd again
