1999 outback project.

well after selling my fiori to buy the svx, i realised i needed somethign to lug parts around in as putting suspension components on the leather isnt anything i want to do. so i bought anither fiori, its a great car and does 150 km per day, but i needed some more h6 manual goodness. the answer to the problem was apparent, a h6 outback, however the 01-03 examples are still going for $10k+ in white the answer, build one.
i picled up a 1999 outback ( gen 3) for free, had no engine , gearbox or rear diff, most of the suspension was also gone, sunroof was broken and the headlining was missing.
rather than scrap it i got a h6 lancaster ( jdm outback) half cut, rx liberty 5 speed gearbox and b4 rear cradle and put it all together.
the result is awesome, had the first drive tonight and love it.

ill put some pics up soon, still needs a wash and im pretty sure the speed sensor is dead also but apart from that will be awesome.

its not quite stock looking though, its been de lifted, 18x9.5 inch rota Grid R's bilstein legacy GTB struts ( soon to be replaced with coilovers ) legacy GTB bonnet with B4 grille, and the whole interior from joel's RX wagon ended up in it also so instead of the boring grey / brown interiro i now have a complete black interior in the outback

its off to the exhaust shop tomorrow to fix what i 'modified' as the auto h6 exhaust hit the manual gearbox cross member i had to remove a section to get it to fit. also the rear section was made for a turbo setup so the flange location doesnt work

anyway enough of the epic posting, pics coming once its had a good detail .
thanks, Ben.
