I always thought the stock pads didn't hold up well at all under high heat conditions. The EBC's work really well, I have had no fade conditions yet even under the most brutal stopping conditions I have put them through. Also this has been the first time I didn't have to clean my front rims on a regular basis. They stay really clean. -Greg
