Without the rubber molding that surrounds the windshield, they are basically useless.
The auction says glass only. It is the rubber seal which contacts the rubber seal on the window on the door that seals out wind and moisture.
i don't know of anyone who successfully removed the molding from an OEM windshield and installed it on a Chinese windshield.

Someone locally successfully transferred the molding from a cracked windshield onto a replacement used windshield that did not have the molding with it. It also looks as it should. That being said, I have seen a chinese windshield done and the molding swapped over. It sticks out like a sore thumb and whoever did it should be fired for how terrible the molding looks on that particular car.
