Hi everyone, Consumer Reports says all the current sets use about the same amount of energy. So, as I always say, you pay your money and you get your thrills! Take care, BOBB
P/S Toshiba showed a 3D set in Berlin,Germany at the European electronics show that does not use glasses. Might get here in Spring 2012. "B"
