I didn't realize that the EZ30R was so problematic. There are thousands of them on the roads, since the late 90s, early 2000s... I would have figured an unreliable engine would have a bad reputation.

I certainly hope the re-designed lower engine block on the EZ36 series has eradicated whatever caused this guy's problem. And it certainly sounds as though Subaru of Australia didn't really do right by him.
