It is impossibe to predict the weather but you can go to weatherunderground.com enter in the town and then go to the history link and get "averages" for temperature and precipitation. If two dates appear to be a tossup, we can go with the one that it usually drier. Up until this summer, we have planned our summer vacations around the third week in August because that is the week that is usually driest up in Maine near the end of the summer when the water is warmest. It has worked out well so far.
