My question relates to VIN numbers. In other years, the last four of VIN is the build sequence for any given model year, typically 0001 to 0301 for 93, etc.
The question is, what 92 model year VIN, with respect to the last four numbers, represents #1 and what represents #2. I'm not interested in whether the car was produced in 91 or 92, or sold in 92 or 93.

Actually, off the top, without digging, what was the VIN of the PACE CAR? Going from there, what should be the last number??
