Good thing is there are no check engine lights anymore, however, there doesnt seem to be nearly as much pickup and go!?!?. in addition there is the hard to start, it takes twenty min of running b 4 drive otherwise it will stall. sometimes it stalls while im driving!?!?! Tires are a pain to find cheep so i replaced with all used ones and two have slow leaks and all are now dryroting. I cant find an insurance company that will pay out more than $2500 if in the unfourtionate case it gets totaled.

All in all, i have a complete (down to the functional svx pen light) fully stock, excelent cosmetic cond svx with two flats, less than exciting performance that is uninsurred sitting infront of my house collecting dirt.

I am so mad that after all that i do there is always more and i cant win and all i want to do is drive it and be happy. Im not rich! if I were, i wouldnt have this problem, all would be fixed. My wife says problems are challenges and sweeter is the juice of labor. I want to get rid of it but i cant cause i have this crazy idea that im so close to having a reliable car. Ive been having that same crazy idea for three years and over 3k out of my walet. Well, all i need now is two tires, and a sensor of some sort and insurance....then whats next that will be a killjoy to my dream????

ps, the only reason i havnt been saying anything is cause ive had nothing nice to say about my svx, like mama always said.

when i done the timing belt on my celica, i had the timing off a little bit and it had no get up and go and was hard to start. Put a timing light on it and got it set right and now its same as it always was. Maybe your timing is off a bit.
