If I was going to do it that way I would use a LOCKING EXTENSION. But hey, if you wanna use tape...

I always got mine with no problem by using a swivel head snap-on ratchet and a standard 12mm socket. A knock off but competent can be found at lowe's for those not wanting to spend upwards of $100 for a ratchet.

The snap on variant I love dearly is this one, minus the gross handle.
