Bellairye is a distant 3rd (unless you're going on a weekend as it doesn't get as crowded). It is set up a little weird (kind of like 7 springs in that there is a huge flat top that you have to hike over to get from trail to trail. It isn't bad when busy but when I was there it was late in the year so they didn't have all the lifts going hence it got tiring getting to the slope you wanted to hit. If your taking your daughter I'd go with Windam over Hunter as it is much less intimidating. Hunter is that old style narrow trail mountain. Which is somewhat spread out on the bottom. Windam everything funnels into 2 areas.
Went to Whitetail today for the first time. Everyone I've talked to is right. Great mountain BUT dreadful snow. High temp was in the mid 30s and it was 2 foot piles of mush with tons of thin spots. Had my daughter so I didn't hit more than 1 intermediate slop but will be heading back with friends monday morning when they should have s decent amount of well groomed new stuff.
