haha that is funny b3lha...

I had a bad gear whine in my 74' plymouth it even ended up affecting the stereo and was consistent with throttle position.

For the stereo it was a grounding issue, the gearing was a combination of harmonic vibration (I believe) and a gear oil change as well as fixing bushings so any vibration wasn't transfered to the chassis by poor bushings and bad rubber.

There are alot of places in the SVX where the rubber is worn out, this could cause more of a metal to metal contact and may be some of what you are hearing. Also tires can cause alot depending on tread. Good luck.
