Re: Miami Vice

Jan Hammer's "Crockett's Theme" is PERFECT. I have Jan Hammer's Miami Vice theme song, too... but it is just not quite 'cool' enough, musically. (I couldn't care less about how cool it is socially. ) Hammer's album "Beyond the Mind's Eye" is also very good.

Also some good Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, or even some old-school Boston work very well.

Or, to give the SVX a bit of a taste of it's homeland, some Tomoyasu Hotei, "Battle without Honor or Humanity" from the Electric Samurai album. You may know it from the Kill Bill series, or the first Transformers movie... that instrumental tune with the horn fanfare, and the very cool bass-line...

1992 Claret SVX. Rescued from certain destruction, and still on the road, where it belongs. Waiting for a bit of a makeover, when I can afford it.
2005 Garnet Red Pearl Legacy GT Limited 5-speed. - The late great Subaru sport touring sedan.
1999 Classic Red Miata, Preferred equipment package 5-speed. Fun, fun, fun, in the Sun, sun, sun.
