Re: studs breaking off
How hard are wheel studs and lugs to:
A: get? do most autozone type places stock 12x1.25 studs, and compatible shank/washer style lug nuts?
B: install... is it as easy as pounding the broken lug back through the hub, and pulling the new one into the hub, by tightening an open nut against the brake disc, to pull the stud splines into the hub?
Does the brake disc need to come off for that process, or is it more involved than this?
