I'm also south of Pittsburgh. Half the time when I try starting one of the Dormont/Pgh area mini-meets, it falls through!
Tom and Di have come to all of them that happened. But then again we have the meets at Tom's favorite restaurant/bar! (Maybe it's time to try again?) The one in April was the biggest yet, but it was also a precursor to Reading, and most members were actually from out of state. It's a further drive for Newkid17 than Reading is. Tom and Di Regularly have meets near Cumberland, MD too. That's not any farther from him that Dormont. So if next year's Reading is too long to wait, there will probably be something before then!
