Maybe a frost heave will appear under the sink whole and level it all out. I remember driving up to Fairbanks in the spring and hitting some of those at high speed. Kind of like hitting a squared-off speed bump at 70mph. Between that and my little off road trip up the infamous Stampede Trail I ended up doing about $2k in damage to my step mom's Outback in less than a week.
They don't let me drive when I visit anymore.
