This is a neat idea for warmer climates. It ocurred to me that folks in these climates don't get to take advangtage of the 30-40 degree night air that makes your car feel extra-energetic in the fall and winter. My GTP is very much this way. The supercharger just magnifies the effect. Last fall, coming home from work in pittsburgh...on the first chilly night for the season...i was getting on 376W from the 22 ramp (there are two interchanges in one place there so i always have to really step on it), and when i put the pedal down to where i usually have to, the car felt like it just got a new engine or something...i actually backed off the throttle cause it surprised the crap out of me. So i imagine the coolant bypass would have a somewhat similiar effect in warmer climates.
