Obama went out of his way to reach out to those who didn't vote for him and to stress that we all have to work together to address our very serious problems. Bush said that the election had given him "Political Capital" and he was going to spend it as he saw fit, which was a polite way of saying "f*ck you" to the people who voted against him.
I will also say the McCain's concession speech was very gracious.
It is really nice for a change to listen to a president-elect who has a brain and can articulate what is in it.

Dan, I fully agree. I think Obama has a chance to really unite this country similar to the way Regan did.
McCain's speech was VERY gracious. And I have had people locally tell me that the McCain speech "sounded" like the McCain of 2000. And if he had run his campaign in that manner without all the nastyness, he very possibly would have won. But he had way too much Bush baggage to really have a shot at it. And 52% of the American public voting for Obama is pretty amazing.
