Last I read it was around 50,000 square miles but Bush was "working" on getting it down with ethanol crops... Though that bloated pig of a farm bill that was passed a while back seems to contradict his "efforts".

He made more from NOT farming than he ever could have from selling his produce!! He was paid 'NOT' to grow corn or soybeans!
After years of 'NOT' growing produce, he SOLD the land to the guv-ment to build a new womens prison!
