Date: Saturday September 20th
Start Time: Meet at 10am, Drive starts at 11am
Starting Location: I-5 Exit 63 (Washington 505) Shell Station/ View Point
With the great success of last years "Columbia River Gorge Drive," Mark and I (not to mention Joy and Jill) are at it again!
We will be meeting 1/4 mile west of the I-5 exit 63 off ramp. Look for the Shell Station/ Viewpoint. It affords plenty of parking and is the only building around (easy to find!). For those North of us (Seattle area, ect) we hope you will save 1hr+ of drive time
From there it is approx 50 miles up and 50 miles back from our destination, with several stops in-between, scenery that is amazing, and will all end at a nice little Authentic Mexican resturaunt (Mark and I "tested" it today). The resturaunt is willing to make accomadations for us, but I need to call with a general idea of attendence, so please sign up as soon as possible! Being approx 100 miles round trip, we classify this as a little more "casual" then usual, but still 100% as awesome.
We will be looking to make the resturant by 5pm and ending there. The resturant is approx. 2.5 miles from our starting point, and will make a very easy spot for us to depart so everyone can get home nice and "early"
One more note, our main destination does require a parking fee/admission fee. So please come prepared, but trust us, it is well worth it, and to anyone who remembers last year, Mark and I are again looking into making sure you'll have something to cherise every day for making the trip
