4.11 gears & the SVX
I've read once or twice, that the 4.11 gears from an Impreza, aren't a good match for the SVX. I like to go fast, but I'm not a big time leadfoot. Besides, I have my Pinto if the aggressive driving bug hits.
Would it be in my best interest to swap the 3.56 gears into the new trans? Will the 4.11's be ok, as far as longevity. Remember, I'm a no budget kind of guy. I can afford to repair the car, but not replace the big things. IE: engine/trans.
Perhaps some of the Gurus can chime in with advice.
