We didn't all get in cheap, my first was $9000 plus a $3000+ transmission
but that was January 1999, now I'm driving the SVX of the truck world, but that's more out of need than want, I'd love to have a few SVXs to drive again
and I have an engine in the barn to install in my Vanagon at some point, so I can drive an SVX even when I'm not driving an SVX
that and the 20k motorcycle I want to buy this summer
