Because I hit a curb at the perfect angle.

Body was largely unscathed. Slid thru intersection at about 30 mph. Hit curb at maybe a 20 to 30 degree angle. Twised the arm assembly, snapped out the sub frame mount points and drove that mounting point two inches into the unibody rail. Thusly $3000_+ to repair and just a scratch or two on the bottom six inches of the quarter panel behind the front wheel.

Back wheel pivoted around and hit the curb too, but for some reason none of the body was hit from what I can see.
