I would reason that it is all over bar the fighting, and that involves taking it easy as instructed. As you now have sight over the complete eye, the retina must be reattached and it was attended to in time.. However it must heal into permanent place, having been pressed/held there by gas pressure. Bugger work, take your time, nothing is worth endangering your eye, believe me.
