What I like most about the above graph for horsepower, is that the increased intake flow is really allowing the engine to come alive higher up in the power band where it previously fell flat.
What's
very interesting though, is that w/o the ToMyx intake on, peak power is made around 5,400rpms which is similar to where an SVX on stock cams would reach its peak. With the addition of the ToMyx intake, peak power is made in the 5,800-6,000rpm range. Your gains are astounding, but an SVX on stock cams would probably not see as big of a peak gain as you did, but similar to what you saw, the area under the graph for both tq and hp will increase everywhere throughout the rev band.
I'm glad to see that you had the insight, resourcefulness and persistence to design and get this intake done! In good conditions, this car should run the 1/4 mile
solidly in the 14's!
