Damn, that was quick... I haven't actually blown up a 5MT yet, although I'm sure my time is coming. I would be willing to bet that it was tranny related. Although while you are replacing the tranny, check the diff fluid in the rear. Also make sure that you put the right fluid in the tranny when you put it back in the car...
