I think I may pass. Sorry if I don't know about the price of the snow tires.
Last winter(maybe), Alan sold a set of his used snow tires with wheels for only 200 here. The conditions was pretty good and so I just began with that deal.
I don't really want to get winter tires for my SVX unless I see a good deal. I can still get around pretty good with my 4yrs bald tires on the heavy snow night last sunday. I think I can also find a set of stock size new tires for my SVX around 300 of everything with mount-and-balance. If I am to spend more than 500, I might as well add another 200+ and I think I can find a set of nice 17" wheels with tires for a new look.
