No they are both crank sensors. The cam sensor is the one on the left hand side cam cover. This one is the same as the other Subarus, so a Legacy or Impreza will fit and work.

Subaruparts.com lists the blue sensor I highlighted as the the cam angle sensor.
Do you have a pic of the sensor on the left hand side cam cover?
