This is a pic of my former SVX's engine with the alternator removed. I've highlighted the crank angle sensor in
red and the cam angle sensor in
blue.
You should be able to get to them w/o removing the alternator, but you can eaily remove it to give yourself more room. Hopefully someone on this board can sell you one for cheap if you need to replace it (they run about $150 USD brand new).
