That's a turbocharged, mid-mounted v8 underneath what is quite possibly one of the most beautiful and practical bodies i've seen. Beautiful because, well.. just look at a picture of one, and practical because.. look at the ground clearance. I could drive this thing down a dirt road in the winter no problem. Not that I ever would.

Adam,
The Esprit has also been a favorite of mine for many moons. It must have something to do with our brains being bombarded by RF.
Or, could it be that the original Esprit (1972) was designed by . . . guess who . . . our own loveable "GG." Although, after '88, they began to tweak the design without Giorgietto, the Giugiaro influence has not been completely lost.
Meanwhile, I used to meet up with an NSX on my way home from work each day. It was a "D.A.R.E." vehicle, driving back and forth from the State Police post in Madisonville, into Owensboro and back. Luckily, they hadn't painted it all up like the Prowler, the Vette and the "Cormaro" convertible they'd siezed.
Meanwhile, Adam, are you familiar with this site?
