Actually wine is rarely served with Yak. I recommend slugging down as much Moskovskaya Vodka as humanly possible before attacking a yak cutlet, which I've heard is the consistancy of a Michelin truck tire, but not as tasty.

Canoli is acceptable with musk ox. The wine? Box o' Musk-atel, of course.

Thanks for asking.

Thanks Ron, thanks Larry.

We had no Yak this trip, though a lot of yakking got done. We did manage a few ox sandwiches, and as for Tire Tiramisu, we kicked quite a few and then declined to chew.

Not much wine imbibed, it was a beer event really. However, thanks to Brett from Wales we did guzzle some exquisite Welsh vodka called Brecon Vodka. I kid you not, Welsh Vodka . They must have nearly as many Russians in Wales these days as we have here in Ireland, including in the distilleries. It was magic stuff. And we had some Speyside malt from John in Scotland and 25 year old Highland Park from the Orkneys from Phil and Angie.

Quite an event. I don't think one meeting a year is enough any more, really. Maybe a Welsh meeting and an Irish meeting and a Scottish meeting in between [I almost said Scotch meeting ]. And I'll have to bring a Box'o'Midleton Very Rare to keep pace with the Hills.

Yessss!!!!!
