Interesting. I recall reading an article concerning general aviation aircraft engines in Flying magazine in the mid-90s. The writer began by pondering the practicality of aircraft applications for the EG33 as he checked-out an SVX at a Subaru dealership. (For those who don't know, the vast majority of general aviation piston engines are "boxer" fours and sixes.)
