It works on aniline & semi-aniline leather; however, most of the SVX steering wheel has some sort of plastic coating. I know Lexus uses a polyurethane coating on almost all their leather surfaces. I was hoping someone knew how to reapply a coating to make the wheel surface consistent.

i was referring to Leatherique's crack-filler and dye products.
call them and talk to them - they are very nice and helpful .
