I only got it because I was having the transmission rebuilt by Level 10 and they said that since they were replacing it anyway, why not have the high-stall version.
I'm just about to have another transmission rebuild. A transmission shop told me yesterday that "if your fluid is black then you'll need a new torque converter".
Don't know if they were just spinning me a line. But since my fluid is pretty black, I guess I'll be getting a new one.
