Just to clear up which episode you were talking about... It's the one where they forget where they parked their car at the mall. The first shot of the car is from the back end. You may only notice the car if you are looking for it. It is not in focus.

Later, they are walking around and Elaine asks someone to drive her around the garage. The first couple who refuse actually GET INTO THE SVX. You can see him open the door up for his wife / girlfriend and they get into the car. It is clearly a beautiful black SVX.
