That's maybe a detail you should have provided in your first post, man. If you thought something might be wrong with your transmission, why didn't you also say, 'oh, and I'm getting duty solenoid C replaced next week because it's bad?'
Labor shouldn't be terrible for that repair - I wouldn't expect more than three hours
max, but to be honest I don't know what the book rate is. Make sure you ask them to show you that if you think they're charging too much.
How old is your tranny? If it's been around the block a few times, you might also want them to replace the transfer clutch pack while they're in there. The labor is the same for that job - it'd suck to pay for it twice.
Of course there's something to be said for 'if it ain't broke...'
