After reading Beav's post, when, when and when should I change mine? Does it have any warning before it happens? Leaking is better than seizing! Maybe I should put some 'lubricant' for the pump........
Nope, any attempt at lubricating, other than keeping good, clean antifreeze in the system, would not be a good thing. I'd just recommend replacing it at the same time as the t-belt, which in my book of humble opinions, should happen around 90k-100k miles.
