I have gmail. It's got one gig of storage. They do scan your mail and base the advertizing banners around what is scanned in your mail. They may also spam you, but I'm not sure. I just got and have only accessed it a couple of times, so I haven't received any spam yet. A friend of a friend works at Google. Working in Silicon Valley does have it privilages. Google is about 20 minutes from my place.
I already have a list of people I need to refer, but I'll add names if you want. It sounds like the referrals don't come up too often, so it could be a while.
