We have been doing a series of events with EasyStreet Motorsports, they're the ones who have broken 9.5s in the quarter mile with their ESX WRX drag vehicle.

I've just been informed by a member of their team that the Rigolis in Australia are working on a number of EG33 based projects, all targeted in the 1000+hp range.

One of their project motors is a destroked EG33 turning 10,000+rpm out of 3.0L. Another is a bored and stroked EG33 with 3.7L of displacement, and yet another at the 4.2L level.

More details to come.... apparently they're shooting for boost figures on several of these motors in the 30-45psi range.


I'll get you guys information (and pics!) as I receive it. I heard the figure of 12,000 rpm thrown around more than once.
