Nice work, he probably routes the pressure through the other fender and up to the intake.
I have done this type of routing on a XT-4 before, but thru 2 intercoolers, one chargecooler (water cooled), and one ordinary intercooler.
The only drawback with this very long "plumbing" is the "lag" of the system is very noticable, esp. in lower gears.
A very rough rule is 10% for every (inercooled) 0.1 bar
