This year, we are finally going to auction off the neon sign made by one of our members, Bruce (can't remember his network name)

Anyway..the proceeds will be split between Bruce and the network.

I'd like to do the auction during the dinner, but of course many of you won't be there, so I'd like to include you somehow....

If anyone has any ideas to make this work let's hear them.

My initial thoughts:

1. Closed bid auction, bidders could send their max bid to me, and I'll reveal the winner at the meet

2. Live auction with Rigged up network feed at the dinner to allow bidding through the chatroom to coincide with the dinner.

3. I start a new thread that will be the auction. People could post their bid, then go higher and higher with each post, with the auction ending at a certain date/time

4. ????
