i'm willing to come out to the bay....it's the congestion that makes me cringe. basically, wherever you guys want to meet in this general area, i'll certainly try to be there.
as for chico, they're trying to take away the drinking holidays....st patty's day/halloween. the city imposed a 10am opening for all the bars (they used to open a 6am). don't know what they're going to try for halloween this year. i think this is in response to the problem of outsiders coming in and trashing the town rather than protecting the town from the college's current students.
fairly recently a guy died from alcohol poisoning at a frat. now no greeks are allowed to have alcohol on their premises whatsoever. i don't think that stops any of them though. i'm not into that whole scene so i'm not absolutely positive.
alot of the downtown businesses seem to be closing due to the suburb businesses coming in (new mall area) and the increasing popularity of internet purchasing.
anyway, enough of that. i think i'm the only SVX in chico. anyone out there heard otherwise?
