I believe you are right. I already had a local garage check and clear the code with their (Snap On I think) tester but it didn't work.

I also left the battery disconnected overnight. The light came back on in the morning. Soooo I guess it of to the local dealer to see what they can do. Interesting thing is the performance and gas mileage has not changed and it past PA imissions test in August with flying colors. How many years does it take for a check engine lamp to burn out?
