Interesting point about the traction control. I sold Mustangs and I know that up through 2002 they had NO traction control in any model. Honestly, the GTs have no use for it. You'd be lucky to spin the tires by flooring it in a turn with the auto. Remember that the 2003 Mustang GT is a whopping 260hp. Not a huge advantage for a car of the same weight. I don't know this for a fact, but based on driving impression, i'd say the SVX is geared better (auto vs. auto). Also remember, if it was a 5-speed, the guy could have muffed the launch. That's pretty typical seeing as most GT drivers are very inexperienced.
